Summary

This data was collected by Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW). It consists of GPS waypoints from ATS Iridium satellite collars (G2110E series) on 48 female and 8 male mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) from the interstate Carson River deer herd, where a portion of the population spends the summer months in the Sierra range of California and the winter months in western Nevada. The data was collected from 2012-2019.

Description

This dataset was originally collected by biologists from Nevada who were interested in documenting survival rates, migration paths, stop-overs, and season habitat use of this interstate mule deer herd.
