Summary

This dataset was created to show known location of vernal pools in Napa County.

Description

These points indicate occurrences of historic and current vernal pool habitat within Napa County of California as identified by Jake Ruygt with input from other botanists including Chris Malan and Stephen Rae, and vouchered herbarium collections. The first draft of these occurrences was developed in January 2001. This layer is not considered a complete representation of all pools in Napa County.
