Data set was created to fulfill permit reporting requirements for endangered and threatened species reporting.
This file contains the Batiquitos Lagoon nest locations of California Least Tern, Western Snowy Plover, and Belding's Savannah Sparrow detected during the 2012 breeding season. The data was collected on hand-held GPS by CDFW intern, J. Kelly, and contractor Dr. Brian Foster. Data was collected from 2 May 2012 through 21 August 2012. Nest locations are accurate to only approximately 12m.
