Mohave ground squirrel, biota, California
The objectives of this dataset are to document the geographic distribution of Mohave ground squirrel occurrences, identify important areas for conservation based on available occurrence data, and recommend areas where additional survey effort is needed.
This dataset brings together the data from unpublished field studies and surveys conducted during the 10-year period from 1998-2007, as well as incidental observations. The information presented here includes positive records documenting Mohave ground squirrel occurrence, including data from 102 successful trapping sessions and 96 incidental observations.
