Mohave ground squirrel, biota, California
The objectives of this dataset are to help document the geographic distribution of Mohave ground squirrel occurrences, summarize the distribution and relative intensity of survey efforts, and recommend areas where additional survey effort is needed.
This dataset brings together the data from unpublished field surveys conducted during the 10-year period from 1998-2007. The information presented here includes positive and negative records summarizing 1140 trapping sessions at 539 grid sites, only 102 of which (at 89 grid sites) were successful in capturing one or more Mohave ground squirrels.
