This data provides information for CNLM biologists to track trends in population of sensitive species found at our preserves. It also provides informatiion required by local HCPs and fulfills reporting requirements.
This dataset represents sensitive plant data collected on Center for Natural Lands Management (CNLM) dedicated nature preserves in San Diego County, California. Data included were collected by CNLM staff and their subcontractors. Most data was collected during focused surveys for plant species, but some are anecdotal sitings. Shrubs were generally located, and then GPS points were taken and later updated into GIS layers. In some cases, such as annual forbs, we estimated the number of individuals, or pin flagged all individuals to get accurate counts. Some data were collected using field maps and then transferred to GIS. Preserves were dedicated during different years, please call CNLM if you want information regarding year of preserve dedication.
