Developed for mapping, planning, and analysis.

Description

The 'WEATHERSTATIONS' layer represents U.S. Weather Service surface weather observing stations. Many of the stations are located at airports. Others are located in or near USWS offices. This coverage was created from the file STATIONS.ZIP available from vmd.cso.uiuc.edu (anonymous ftp).
