These lines represent the legal boundary of Title 14, Section 465.5. zones 1 and 2 that prohibit the use of Conibear-type traps and snares. This layer was created for use by the Law Enforcement Division, in particular the CalTIP program.
Under Title 14, Section 465.5, the use of conibear-type traps and snares, except those totally submerged, and deadfall traps are prohibited in the zone shown in this map layer. The directions used to form these areas on this data layer are described in Title14, Section 465.5, (g) (5) (A) and (B).
