The purpose of this gathering of burrowing owl observations was to document the location and potential number of burrowing owls occurring in Western Riverside County.
Protocol surveys were conducted to locate burrowing owls at the six of twelve core burrowing owl populations that were designated as probable conservation priorities for the MSHCP.
