Summary

This dataset represents the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Districts in marine waters as described in the California Fish and Game Code, Division 8, Section 11000.

Description

This dataset represents the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Districts used in commercial fishing regulations and referenced in the commercial fishing digest. The boundaries were drawn using various data sources. Please refer to the California Fish and Game Code, Division 8, Section 11000 for the specific boundaries. Only Marine Districts are included.

Attributes:

  • District: Number of the district.

  • Description: Brief description of the district.
