Summary

To show the extent of shoreline/intertidal spawning for the Pacific herring in San Francisco Bay, CA. This combines data from several seasons, starting in 2012 through 2020. Seasons included: 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020.

Description

This data provides one-dimensional representation of herring spawn areas in shoreline areas of the San Francisco Bay.

Cannot be used to calculate area of shoreline spawns (only lengths of areas provided in attribute table). Not for navigation. Lengths are approximate and represent the best available science.
