Summary

Fish and invertebrate data collected by the UC Davis Fish and Invertebrate Study.

Description

Fish and invertebrate data presented here have been collected monthly by the UC Davis Fish and Invertebrate Study beginning in 1979. Gaps may exist in the dataset when a sample resulted in no catch AND when no sample was taken. Due to this limitation, these data are not suitable for quantitative analysis. Contact UC Davis Fish and invertebrate Study for complete information and updates as sampling is ongoing. Funding for field research provided by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR). Complete information on methods and interpretation of catch data are presented in annual project reports available through DWR. Data on fishes were collected by trawl. Fishes are also sampled with seine nets, but those data are not presented here. Data on invertebrates were collected by trawl. Invertebrates have been collected by a number of alternate methods as part of this study, but those data are not presented here.
